 I am a middle school librarian in Irvine, California. I am passionate about connecting students to books and information. I value curiosity. Albert Einstein said,”The important thing is to never stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” I value kindness. “ Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” ~Leo Buscaglia

When people come in my library I purpose to do give these things - touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, a small caring act and a prompt to spur their curiosity!
